Crate size guide for big dogs

Measure your dog nose to tail base and floor to the top of the head while standing, then add 2–4 inches. A 42–48 inch crate suits most Labradors, Goldens and Shepherds; giant breeds such as Great Danes and Mastiffs usually need XXL or larger. Add a comfy pad from our large dog beds.
